My basic approach when opening up a website project, whether it be a new website or an existing one, is that I look at where it can go into the future. I ask myself how I can make it a success. I know the answer lies in regular maintenance and good search engine friendly content. There is no sound solution in building a website and then just letting it gather "virtual dust" just sitting around. We have to optimize and work on it as often as we can. I can provide some of the basic services you will need to keep your website producing the results you wish to obtain. At a glance, here is what I offer as a Joomla Webmaster:

  • Adding/Removing Content (FTP, Article Manager, Media Manager)
  • Joomla Core Upgrades (Joomla 1.0 to Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 1.5 to LSV)
  • Regular Backups and Restoration*
  • Search Engine Optimization
  • Template Modifications and Replacements
  • Google Analytics Monitoring and Reporting
  • Extension Upgrades/Replacements/Additions
  • Module Management
  • Site Suggestions/Content Suggestions
What I normally do for all of my projects, whether it be a new site or extended service plan, is formulate a retainer plan. You and I will discuss your websites individual needs, and I will assess an average hourly workload for each month. I then propose one of my retainer blocks as listed on my package offerings page.

Typically when I meet with clients, I am asked a rough estimate of what it will cost to execute a task or build their website. It is very difficult to estimate timeframes sometimes, so what I have found works best, is to set up a retainer plan. Essentially what I do, is I estimate how many hours I think it will take to complete a task and I multiply that estimate by my hourly rate. I then select a package that is close to the hourly requirement and budget. Here are my base retainer packages to give you a better idea on what it will cost, based on the hours I spend working on your project. In the event that we exceed the included time in these packages, we then go back to the drawing board and estimate how much more time it will take and submit a new invoice.

My current rate is $25.00 per hour.
